United States Independent Republic of Texas 1839 Mitchell North America map irak Arabi wood engraved by Brothers DalzielMap of North America. Issued 1839, Connecticut by SA Mitchell. Engraved by JH Young. Great early 19th century engraved map with original hand color. VG condition, light age spotting, original binding stitch holes down side blank margin, overall presents well, nice looking example. Of note for the prominent depiction of Texas while it was an independent republic. Note Oregon Territory extending way up into modern day British Columbia Canada. Alaska
