A Merry Christmas (Elizabeth Gill) MatterMatter this book is back andElizabeth Gill was born in Hove, Sussex, England, in 1905, and grew up in an artistic community in Ditchling. She was a painter and made drawings herself. But this one comes from a drawing she made in about 1915 when she was about 10. Her father engraved the block and it was printed as some sort of holiday card. Its not found in books about her fathers prints and engravings, but it is Item 165 from the Maggs Bros Catalogue 1446: Books from the Library
