Shaike Snir 'Iddo's Cat' contemporary Edition: APShaike Snir is an Israeli Australian artist and printmaker. His work evokes a multiplicity of histories: Australian, Aboriginal, Jewish and personal. In Iddos Cat, he presents a geometric cat in soft browns and beiges. The cat depicted is his son's, thus this work is an intimate portrayal of family bonds. A charming and rich work, Iddos Cat will enlighten collections of religious art, prints and animal imagery. Shaike SNIR (1952 ) 'Iddo's Cat' 1989
