Berry Brothers Craigellachie 16 Year Old Bottled_2017 and sweet - Definitely GOODA quick visual inspection makes it clear this is a thick, oily distillate, coating the glass. The nose does not disappoint, with notes of waxed jackets, barley oil and paraffin lamps. The waxy theme continues on the palate with a balance of sweet condensed milk like barley notes and new leather, very thick and complex. An equally rewarding finish gives cloves, beeswax and yet more barley.
