This painting encapsulates all that is beautiful about the freedom of being a beach bum, if only for a day. I find the painting acts as a trigger to my imagination and I soon recall my youthful days as a beach bum in Robin Hood's bay on the Yorkshire coast. Maybe it does the same for you. Hope so.
