As the first woman to win the Archibald Prize twice, Cassab was widely celebrated for her artistic ability. After surviving the Holocaust, Cassab worked tirelessly to establish her artistic career in Australia. Arriving in the country in 1951, she held her first solo exhibition in 1953, and won her first Archibald Prize in 1960. This
