Misato Blue Mug With Handle Baseball Caps φ240×H520mmAfter the sadness of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku northern Japan, potter Rikio Hashimato looked to the blue sky above his studio in Shimane Prefecture for inspiration to create a series of pieces called "Misato Blue" named after the village where his kiln is located. The deep blue color symbolizes hope and a new dawn. This lovely coffee or tea mug with handle is a limited production of only ten pieces made.
