Damascene Stellenbosch Syrah '24 Overberg This pale peach coloured wineThis inaugural single vineyard release comes from a high lying, granitic block planted in 1996 on the prized Karibib farm. Hand harvested Syrah was picked over 9 days and vinified in separate batches, with a high proportion of whole clusters and gentle extraction in concrete. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine was pressed and transferred to large format Austrian oak to mature for 11 months before bottling. Polished and perfumed, the 2024
