We dont know for sure what year that was, but as there was none printed on this sheet or the accompanying envelope, lets say it was sometime between 1902 when he was born and 1974 when he died. It was probably closer to 1974. The Chinese woodcut was printed in the manner of Tschicholds beloved Ten Bamboo Studio. A nice thing.
