It contains an exceptionally high proportion of distinctive Island and mellow Speyside malts which, after blending, are returned to cask to marry prior to bottling. Nose: Heavy smoke, a pinch of salt and spice. Dried fruits drizzled in honey. Palate: Sweet dried fruits, figs and raisins. Followed by peat and oak. Finish: Medium long, slight sweetnes, peated smoke.
