Tim Storrier 'To the West - Camp out Relay ' reproduction-print And furtherTim Storriers famed landscapes linger between the real and surreal. Fascinated with the myth of the outback, he unearths the sublime in horizon lines. In this early soft ground etching, dated 1977, Storrier envisions a textured terrain. Boulders dimple the earth before it gives way to light, perhaps there is a lake in the distance. In a 1970 interview with artist James Gleeson, Storrier discussed his use of Camp Relay, the imaginary setting of To the
