Crowd (Where's Warhol) - Licorice Select a Size:Sample The primary elements are fromWarhols 1963 silkscreen print, Crowd, is based on a 1955 newswire photograph taken of St. Peters Square in Rome on Easter Sunday. Andy printed it in quadrants as if he wanted it to magically repeat, so Flavor Paper founder Jon Sherman decided to dig up the original source image, build a repeat, and then created a half tone similar to Andys version. Jon decided to add an image of Andy shot on set of Chelsea Girls where he was wearing a striped shirt
