The South African Mk2s were mass produced and sold off for British use out in Africa and later in Europe
It was done to prevent any snagging whilst getting in and out of the vehicle and to aid driving by as it removed any discomfort created by the rear buckles
so is used but in good condition
They are Italian army genuine issue old stock and are in very good useable condition
We think this is post WW2 Polish Army but it could be one of the other Russian states after the war
