Dating from the late Meji (1868 1910) period this wonderfully detailed handmade woodblock print. With fine detailing and embossed patterned areas to give texture and add interest. Depicting two male figures of importance surrounded by serving woman offering food and adding interest to the scene. They seem to be on a terrace or balcony overlooking the sea with mountains in the background, the top of the print has patterned blinds
