Graeme Peebles 'Shell Collector' the field revisited Larwill’s work is represented inPaying homage to Renaissance Masters, Graeme Peebles reinterprets the still life genre through a surrealist prism. His richness of detail, use of chiaroscuro and depth of black are all part of what makes Peebles an internationally acclaimed printmaker. In Shell Collector he envisions a jellyfish, revealing his mastery over medium. The jellyfish is transparent, ghostly, luminous sweeping forth from the blackened water, a shell absorbed into its crown.
