M2903 Malaga Maroon Woodfire Terra Cotta Velvet Underglaze isApply the Majolica white base by dipping or pouring (one coat only). If applied by brush use three even coats. Allow the piece to dry between coats. One the base glaze is dry to the touch you can start applying Majolica colors. The colors are generally applied by brushing and only require one coat. All Majolica glazes can be thinned with water for translucency or thickened with Epsom salt to increase opacity. Fire to cone 05 or 04.
