Great Britain SG 43 Cover 1868 handpainted front from London to Chichester digital-edition When the rate to IndiaIllustrated Envelopes. 1868 (JA 18) handpainted front (with card backing) addressed to 'Mrs Henley, Mayfield Villa, Marlborough, Wilts.', franked by 1864 79 1d rose red (pl. 85), tied by 'LONDON N. W N. W 16' duplex, and depicting a well executed Georgian scene of three children (the artist and two patrons) admiring an easel and canvas (which contains the address and stamp).
