Jim Thalassoudis 'Regal' Printmaking Crease to top edgeJim Thalassoudis' recent body of work focuses on neon signs, formerly much maligned as visual pollution but currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity as heritage listed vintage artefacts. The richness of saturated colours is contrasted by the artist effectively against the night time skyline resulting in a composition that is at once memorable and iconic. The work was inspired by the crown which adorns the Regal Theatre in Subiaco, Perth.
