Charming example of the popular ladies' almanac bound in full red Morocco and housed in a lined slipcase. These pocket sized almanacs featured romantic poetry and stories by prominent poets of the day and were popular as gifts. This example also has six plates engraved in intaglio after Carracci, Guerchin, Dominiquin, F. Mola, Raphael, and Poussin. At the back is a seciton called "Souvenirs" with each month of the year
