The Libertines-inspired 'Up The Bracket' Art Print Pub Rock which means good things for'Up The Bracket' has some pretty clear cultural references: gangsters who may or may not be the Kray brothers (but two of them, for sure); and a couple flirting with (or trying to escape getting sucked into) a life of crime. I couldn't think of a pulpier topic! I found this terrific vintage retro pulp paperback cover that shows pair of thugs who look like they might have run up some stairs to discover this couple torn from the very lyrics of the song.
