Rudolf Koch and the Offenbach Workshop paulrandstuff Martens can be placed inYou know these silhouettes from 1918s Die Schriftgieerei im Schattenbild (The Typefoundry in Silhouette) but here we have them arranged with care for a poster promoting a 1980 seminar about Rudolf Kochs work. The red lettering was by Stephen Harvard and the black lettering is by Lance Hidy, who designed the poster. (Someone should turn those black caps into a proper face.) Incidentally, Stephen, Lance, and Jean each have envelopes in our current show.
