1930’s / 1950’s Gibson Advanced Jumbo Southern Jumbo Gibson This Corvette was constructed with1930s 50s Gibson Advanced Jumbo Southern Jumbo in very good condition. This Gibson started its life as an Advanced Jumbo from the 1930s. At some point in the late 1950s the guitar was sent back to Gibson where it was re topped, re necked with a Southern Jumbo neck, and refinished at the factory. The guitar now is essentially a 24 scale Southern Jumbo with an extra deep 1930s rosewood body, measuring 4 deep at the lower bout. It appears as if the
