There were two general styles of skillets, one with a heat ring and one with a smooth bottom. But for the #2 and #3 sizes, Wagner never made a heat ring skillet. They only manufactured the smallest sizes in the smooth bottom. So we believe that this #3 would fit in with both the heat ring and smooth bottom
