The handcrafted artisan design will protect your fingers from getting burned. The Jigsaw design is for slim curved handles, such as Clearview Stoves. All our family use ours, it hangs on a blacksmiths nail by the stove, so it is always close to hand. The Woodee was born out of necessity. I burnt my fingers one too many times
