This is largely because the patterns were borrowed from other foundries, some because they were made by another larger foundry, and others simply because there are no clear markings. E. C. Simmons' cast iron waffles were likely made by a few manufacturers (possibly Stover?) since Simmons was a hardware manufacturer. Alfred
