Wow. 1910-20's era Lodge #14 Cast Iron Skillet with Three Notch Heat Ring. HUGE and perfect for large batch cooking sportsman the "273" full size cornHave you ever heard the phrase "its not your grandmothers. so and so?" Well, this IS my grandmothers skillet and they made them so much lighter and smoother back then. Clara Bell bought her #8 three notch Lodge in the 40s before she left Tennessee to move north. This skillet is a #14 and has some beautiful swirls. There is some unevenness in color that will blend with use, and one small dime size of surface pitting that may have been a pattern shift.
