Trained in Fine Arts in Bilbao and later specializing in painting and engraving in Puerto Rico, his artistic practice spans painting, printmaking, and ceramics. Guided by a deep love of nature, Azaola creates expressive ceramic birds and fishes that capture the beauty, movement, and distinct personality of each animal.
