It was preserved very well on the exterior and after a full restoration we discovered some scarring and pitting from what was likely humidity or moisture over time on the inside

It just will take a lot of time to blend together better

This waffle iron was found near us in SE Pa, where it was loved well. Now after full electrolysis and restoration using three rounds of beef tallow, its ready for the next 100 years of use. The base has fully markings Griswold logos on the bottom. The Griswold logo on both paddles is crisp and in
