At one of my most depressed times a trip to the ocean pulled me out of this darkness. Something about the open sea is putting everything into perspective. The waves rocking my nervous system into resting, slowing the racing mind and letting the sun in for a moment. Snorkeling for hours on end, witnessing another world accepting me in unbothered. Tears
