It is thought to be a cross of (Pinguicula gigantea x P. emarginata) x P. agnata. Under bright light the rosette takes on a soft blonde and cream tone with a deep pink blush along the leaf margins, the kind of coloring that draws people to Mexican pings in the first place. Flowers are light yellow with a striking raspberry red center , blooming
