This skillet is a wonderful one to own as a first skillet or to fill in for a collection. It shows all the signs of a well crafted, hand made American piece of cookware. This series variation of the ERIE skillet was made only between 1890 and 1905, and is one of the most popular of the Erie series' skillets. Sits flat and the interior surface is amazing.
