Having worked as a designer I am very much caught up in the excitement of creation

The surreal psychodrama is replete with imagery from the bizarre to the symbolic

but my heart lies in the wild Northumberland countryside that surrounds my bustling town

(f) Framing included This is Her Story is a narrative series of portraits featuring both mythological and historical  women whose fates have become iconic templates for female identity. The experiences of these  women become intertwined with those of a modern child, a young girl dressed in white who  features in the landscape of each painting.
