Swiss Made standards have changed over time and were not always defined by law. 1971 was the year of the Swiss Made trademark, which also defines the standards for bearing a Swiss Made timepiece today Therefore our first Swiss Made Automatic timepiece carry the name 1971 AUTOMATIC.
