He was the forerunner in designing sculpture like jewelry for Lapponia Jewelry, drawing his inspiration from abstract shapes and the frozen winter landscapes of Finnish Lapland. Weckstrm's main mission has always been to turn jewelry design into a small scale art form and raise its profile on a par with that of modern sculpting. In
