Artisans would sometimes remove the Shakudo plaques from the armor and incorporate them into jewelry or art. It has become very collectible and quite unusual. These unusual cufflinks from the Victorian era (ca1880) era a wonderful example of the Shakudo art! Both cufflinks have unique figural motifs that are independent, yet complimentary to each other.
