Late 1800's Unknown Maker Antique #7 Skillet, Fancy Handle. Very cool piece to use, similar to Griswold Erie griswold cast iron They made heavier pieces forWe came across this skillet from a collection in North Carolina. This one is similar to the Wagner Sidney early skillets in the late 1800's, in that the walls are more shallow like a National skillet. It has an incised 7 at the 6 Oclock position and has a great cooking surface. For its age, its very well maintained. It does NOT sit flat so best for gas or electric coil surfaces. This pan is gorgeous! Smooth clean cooking surface, thick but not heavy
