This river has an energy and life about it that is very special for me the power of the water, the lighting, a glow behind the boulders, and a view that draws the eyes up to the Jurassic looking mountains in the distance. I arrived around 6am and within a short time, came to the area I wanted to photograph from. To my delight, I found that the lighting was just perfect, a soft, mauve light warming the whole river.
