but this may have been an intended effect - on looking inside some of the seam edges are frayed & tufted

Back length - base of collar to hem: 45" (114cm)

has elasticated tabs & buttons on the waistband & is unlined

It has a dolman bodice with elbow length sleeves & a wide round neck with collar; the skirt is wide & has deep pleats into the waistband. The dress fastens at the side with an early nylon zip, & there is a matching hook fastened
