These reels were made from 1993 by Ari "to satisfy the demand from the trade for a reel that possessed the essential qualities of all the other ATH reels" (paraphrased, thanks Klaus, author of the Ari 't Hart book). This 2 1 2" diameter reel was made in Holland for the Zurich, Switzerland, tackle retailer HRH (H. R. Heibesen). These are light drag reels which operate with equal tension in both directions. This
