naturalistic lines - lovely
Description: Beautiful Australian opal ring in 18ct gold
Materials: High carat gold (tested as over 9ct
Description: Very much in the German Art Nouveau (or Jugendstil) style but with British 9ct mark - it was common for jewellers to borrow design cues but this one is slightly unusual as British Art Nouveau tends to copy the French style if anything
These may have been a portrait of the owners loved one or could be a famous figure from the day - they may warrant some further research anyway
Antique Bloodstone Intaglio Locket or Poison Signet Ring in 18ct Gold japanese naturalistic lines - lovelyDescription: Gorgeous, tactile signet ring. Would possibly have contained a small keepsake or lock of hair (and could do again) but if you prefer you can imagine it as a poison ring! The front intaglio looks possibly like a crane carrying a small sack (presumably holding a baby) and there are 3 initials in fancy script below. Age: c1900 Unmarked Size and weight: 4g, UK L and half, US 6. We wouldn't really want to re size this one but that's not to say
