The reel seat is cap and ring with varnished Spanish cedar

Every detail screams quality

Hardy Bougle Fly Reel - Original 7'2" I've looked over the rodAn extremely scarce original Hardy Bougle fly reel, 3" diameter and set up for the typical RHW. Very good condition with normal cosmetic wear but no meaningful issues that I could find. The reel foot is full length. The spool has a slight bit of play. Duplicated Mark II check with an ivorine handle. The nickel silver rim tension regulator screw works perfectly. Interestingly, this reel has an internal badge from Von Lengerke and Detmold in New York
