These models are exceedingly hard to find and while this one has seen some use it has plenty of life left in it and a nice connection to one of the sporting world's noted engravers
The rod was purchased from Bob Corsetti as a one-tip rod and the owner then had Steve Blake restore the rod with proper silks and original hardware
The chopsticks (split internodes) are spliced maintaining the geometry of the original culm and the splices are staggered in the splines very much like a 3-3-3 pattern of node staggering

Hardy Uniqua Fly Reel 3 5/8" Spitfire 10'6" These models are exceedingly hardA nice Hardy Uniqua fly reel with the rare spitfire finish, 3 5 8" diameter and currently set up for LHW, though I suspect it was a RHW originally. The reel is stamped with Jimmy Smith's "JS" initials on the inside of the frame. The reel has the duplicated Mark II check stamping on the outside, but only a single check inside. Very fine overall condition with just a few bits of cosmetic wear but devoid of any major issues. Mechanically the reel is
