I painted this one at the same time I painted Texas Twilight

so I painted the colors at the same time over a wet map

Bird's Nest in a Corner is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process

The final color I added was the splash of patina blue using acid oxidized copper paint

but wanted it to have more energy and movement

The side pieces or "wings" are 6" x 48" and the center is 6" x 60". This original was painted with acrylic for the background then acid oxidized paints were floated across a wet background to imitate flowing water in soft patina colors. The drips are rendered in our "Molten Metals" process and glass gems make up the drop. The pieces are finished with a drizzle of clear epoxy resin that
