The ivorine handle is stiff on its post and needs to be freed up by a competent reel mechanic. The tension regulator works as intended. Nice leaded finish. Smooth brass foot is unmodified. The red agate line guide is crack free. While the agate bezel insert is somewhat unusual, I cannot state definitively whether this was a custom replacement at
