After the first snow on the White Mountain, The gray light fills the autumn frost. I went to White Mountain, NH last October to paint. The first snow was a big surprise that I never experienced before. When looking for a landscape to paint. I look for chaos. Chaos in nature is immediately challenging and forces me to impose some type of order on my perception of the site. When I find a scene that
