Eric Morgat La Croisée Des Chenins, 2017 Sparkling Intense fruit - blackberryAnother great wine from Morgat. On the nose there is wet rocks, grapefruit, pear, stone fruits and a floral component. Rich yet precise! Oliy texture in the opening, with a hint of butter, then over to a more fruity and leaner finish with lots of acid and a slight bitternes. Since I do not know better I would say it has some vintage character. In any case it will keep well, and easily handles lots different foods
