The lamp is fitted with a polished chrome mounted socket with the on off switch fitted within it which can be accessed from underneath the lampshade. In good vintage condition with some age related scratches on the base. The table lamp doesn't have the manufacturer's foil label but is signed on the base "Val St Lambert" Perfect for a bedside table
