The rectangular top, decorated with an elegant floral motif and a central scene depicting a knight on horseback, is an excellent example of 19th century Sorrento Neapolitan cabinetmaking. The turned and sculpted base features an elegant central trunk branching into four shaped legs, also finely inlaid.
