Medium slow action (I might prefer it with a #5). Lighter color cane temper than the older Orvis rods. Three up node pattern configuration. Brown wraps. The step ferrules are oxidized. Carbide stripper and chrome snake guides and tip tops. The grip is 6 1 2" long with a slight cigar profile and a large blunt front. The reel seat is a downlocking
