60/66 - 'Rust' African Painted Dog painted dog Having been very inspired byMixed media Gelli plate printed papers, collage and acrylic on canvas board. 10" x 12" This African Wild Dog aka Painted Wolf emerged from the background colours which were painted collaged firstly using transparent papers made by Gelli plate printing coupled with an abstract acrylic painting. I loved the feel these printmaking papers produced which reflected the patchwork coats of the dog. Thanks to Nick Lyon for a very interpreted reference. Price
